I just turned 61yoa, and I have bought and sold properties my whole life. By far Cynthia "the best" found the house we purchased in one day. We used Cynthia Crawford-Holt from John R. Wood Properties to help purchase our Ft. Myers home. We had recently relocated to SW Florida from Washington state to be closer to elderly family. However, we knew very little about the area prior to relocation. We met Cynthia at an open house and her bright, bubbly personality made us feel immediately at ease. She took the time to learn our wants and needs. She was patient with us, helping us to search out the perfect home location by allowing us ample opportunity to explore the nearby local housing markets before we settled on Ft. Myers. Furthermore, Cynthia shared her knowledge of local home construction, hurricane impact windows/doors/shutters with us, so that we were better prepared to assess the local home features. Unfortunately for us we had come into the housing market at a very unique time in 2022 when housing prices were high but the economic downturn was causing low interest rates to rise to 40 year highs. Fortunately for us we had a highly skilled, knowledgeable realtor, who knew the local market very well. Our housing purchase was set to close just prior to Hurricane Ian making landfall but it was ultimately delayed. After the storm, Cynthia went above and beyond checking for damage to our property, helping us to negotiate hurricane repairs with the seller despite having her own hurricane related home repairs to deal with. In short, Cynthia was always on our side working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Cynthia was that she was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding homes that met our needs than she was on closing a deal.
